Facebook Live Classes

Chef Todd has Live Broadcasts on his Facebook Page - free to the public - every Tuesday at 12pm, (most) Thursdays at 6:30 pm and (most) Saturdays at 12pm (Eastern US time)

Free (Limited Time) Scheduled Webinars and Web Classes

Periodically, Chef Todd schedules webinars and web classes - free to the public - that require advance registration and have a variety of schedules. 

Please note: If you are registered for a webinar and cannot attend, there is no need (and no ability) to reschedule. 

You will receive a link to the replay and at least 2 reminders with that link. 

If you don’t receive the email with the link, it is in your spam/junk folder. 

Unfortunately, these links are unique and Customer Support will not be able to provide you with these links. 

But no worries - classes are being scheduled on a rotating basis so eventually that class will most likely be scheduled again and you can register then.

Gift Certificates /  Gift Memberships

At this time, we don't have gift certificates available for purchase.

We DO have Gift Lifetime Memberships available for purchase and you can see more about that here:

When you purchase a gift membership, you will receive an email with a printable certificate and instructions on how to activate the membership so your recipient will be able to create a login account and access the members area right away.

Please note: If you purchased MULTIPLE gift Memberships using the same email address, the automated activation instructions contained in the email you receive after purchase WILL NOT work. Please contact Customer Support (scroll all the way down for a link to the Customer Support form) - and provide the following information for each of your recipient memberships:

Full Name
Email Address
Phone Number

Once we've activated the memberships (usually within 1 business day of receiving the request), you will receive an email confirmation containing instructions for creating login accounts that you can share with your recipient(s) when the gift is presented.

Study Halls

As a special LIMITED TIME Bonus - Free to Web Cooking Classes Lifetime Members - Chef Todd is conducting Live Study Hall Broadcasts on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 3pm Eastern US time in the Care Free Cooks Community on Facebook.

Chef Todd posts the topic of each Study Hall, generally the afternoon prior in the Care Free Cooks Group.

WCC Members Area Login Help

You can solve your own login issues in 2 minutes with these steps:

2 Enter your MEMBERSHIP EMAIL address. This is a very common mistake so please make sure you are using the email address associated with your membership.

3. Create a password, COPY THAT password by higlighting it and doing a copy function on your device so it is stored for pasting on the next screen. Passwords are case-sensitive and password typos are another very common mistake that prevent login

4. Go here:
Enter the same email that you entered on the previous form and then use the paste function on your device to paste the exact password you created.

Our system is continually monitored and auto-alerts to any system-wide outages regarding login or membership access. 

Therefore, If login does not work and you are sure the password has no typos, then you are not using an email associated with your membership or (if a new membership), you may have had a typo in the email you used to purchase membership.

Or the membership has been suspended either by you or due to billing failure. You can update your billing securely here:

(please allow up to a full business day for a suspended membership to reinstated after billing has been updated).

Please follow the steps above using a different email address and if it still doesn’t work, try using a different browser and a different device.

Navigation of the Members Area - Finding Lessons - New Member Bonuses - Downloadbable Ebooks

Lesson Navigation:

Inside the Members Area, navigation to the various lesson weeks comes from the top menu 
(Module 1, Module 2, Module 3) 
Just hover over any of those headings and a menu will drop down listing lesson weeks by number under that module. 
Just click the one you'd like and it will take you to that page. 

You can also click on any of the headings (Module 1, Module 2, Module 3) 
and that will take you to the Table of Contents page that shows all lesson weeks in that module. 
Just click on a lesson week to go to that page. 

On mobile devices, the navigation menu can be found by clicking the 3 horizontal lines at the top right. 
A menu will open up on the left, listing Module 1, Module 2, Module 3. 
And then just follow the instructions above. 

New Member Bonuses and Downloadble E-books and Guides:

All of your New Member Bonuses can be found in the Members Area. 
Just login and look for "New Members Bonuses - Get Started Here", under the Module 1 Menu at the top.
On the "New Members" page, scroll down to the "Resources" Button and click it for the downloads. If you need further guidance on this, the best thing to do is to watch the Orientation Video in the Members Area HERE.

Error Message:  This website is not safe. (phishing) website has been flagged as a phishing threat (or similar):

The error message: "This website is unsafe" or "This website has been flagged as a phishing threat" is INCORRECTLY being generated by Internet Explorer (or another Microsoft product) on websites that are NOT unsafe.
(You can google this for more information)

Internet Explorer (as well as some other Microsoft unsupported products) is an unsupported and obsolete browser that is prone to error issues because it is no longer being updated or supported by Microsoft.

We recommend using Chrome, Safari or Firefox as your web browser to avoid these issues on our site as well as others.

Error Message: Video Cannot be Played Due to Privacy Issues:

The error message: "video cannot be played due to privacy settings" is generated on the user side of things, not the delivery side. This means it has to do with your set up. All of our videos are functioning on this end (from the source) and there are no privacy settings enabled on our end.

The ‘privacy settings’ error typically occurs with Firefox when there is a discrepancy between the browser version and flash. Our typical suggestion is to disable the Flash browser plug-in so that the vimeo player is forced to use HTML5. This works in most cases.

If you are not sure how to do this, try googling the error message + your device for further trouble-shooting assistance. 

Also, you can try playing the videos on a different device if that is an option for you - or a different browser might work, if updating the browser does not.

We have had a couple of members report this error message and they were able to resolve it on their end in every instance.

Please note: there are no equipment requirements at all for WCC. One of the best parts of learning to cook by METHOD is that there are no special tools needed. As Chef Todd puts it, "When you know Methods, you can cook on a hot rock." 

That said, some cooking equipment can certainly help and Chef Todd does have his favorites.

This is simply a list Chef Todd put together because he gets asked these questions a lot. We regret that Customer Service is not able to answer specific questions about tools or equipment other than what is provided on that list.

Cancellation/Refund Information

Please use this form to Submit Cancellation/Refund Requests for Web Cooking Classes ONLY:

Cancellation is immediate via the form at the link above, and takes 1-2 business days to process if requested in any other manner.

If you are canceling within 30 days,  you may request a refund on the comments section of the form.
Only refunds requested within 30 days of purchase are eligible for refund. All refunds requested within 30 days are granted and processed in the timeline below. In fairness to all, we do not grant exceptions to this refund policy for any reason.

We process all eligible refund requests within 3 BUSINESS days. 

However, due to circumstances beyond our control (and known only to banks), it can take up to 30 days for a bank to post a refund (although most are posted within 2 weeks). 

It is not necessary to contact us again regarding a confirmed refund if it has been less than 30 days since your request.

Questions about Other (non WCC) online courses

Each of our courses is its own course and requires its own login to access the course

Your WCC login will NOT work to access any other course 
and you will not be able to access any other course until you set up login credentials. 

All bonus items are found within each online course in the section marked Bonuses.

If you need to CREATE a new login for a course you just purchased, please see all course links below to do that. 

If you have already created a login for the specific course listed below (and you've purchased it), then you can use the course links below, but click "Already a member? login here" which is just below the form input fields - to get to the LOGIN screen.

If you have forgotten your password, please click "Forgot Password" which is just under input fields on the LOGIN page - and reset your password.

If you attempt to create a new login and receive the message: Account already exists (or something similar), follow the step above to reset your password and then try your login again.
